What should I do when videos drop frame or lag?

• WebCam supports Auto White Balance and Auto Exposure. Your camera will activate these function automatically when lights not sufficient. You may disable Auto Exposure if it cause slight delay problem.

Why my friend cannot hear my voice when using MSN:

• Check Sounds and Audio Devices Properties on Device Manager and make sure Sound recording is default to use PC camera.
• Check your IM software's sound recording is defaulted to use PC camera.
• Check if your network uses firewall. Turn off the firewall when you want your voice to be transmitted.
• Also check your friend's IM software. Make sure two IM are the same or they can be connected through Internet.

Why my computer can not detect my WebCam?

• Please follow the manual to install everything.
• Make sure you have uninstalled all drivers for previous USB WebCam or PCI TV card. After uninstalling all old drivers, reboot the system.
• If After few reboots and still can not get the WebCam to work, uninstall the driver again. Allow Windows to install the driver automatically.

Installation

First of all, plug in the USB Webcam to an USB Port on your computer, and make sure your computer detects the new hardware. Secondly, insert the software CD in a CD-Rom or a DVD-Rom, then install the software by following the instruction.

Q/A

1. During the installation you might face a potential problem that your computer will tell you the PC-1100S, the software that you are installing, has not passed Windows Logo testing. Please ignore the message and click on “Continue Anyway” on your screen when you see the Pop-Up.
2. After you have finished the installation, you might not find the new program in “All Programs” even it tells you there is a new program found. Now if that is the case, you need to re-install the software and the new program will show in “All Programs” after you re-install it. The file name will be PC-1100S. Then go to PC-1100S and click on “AMCap” and you will see a small screen pop up on your computer.
3. Most likely you will see the video image from the small screen on your computer but if it doesn’t show, then there will be a message tells you that “AMCap can not capture the video file”. Almost at the same time, there will be a Windows Install Wizard pop up, and go ahead follow the instruction and let the Windows connect to the device which is your Webcam. After it’s done, you need to click on “Devices” on the small screen then click on “PC-1100S” and “USB Camera”. You will finally have your video image at this point.

 
It seems a little confusing and frustrating when you are installing and getting this USB PC Camera to work, however you will enjoy it afterwards.
